RESUMEN

Innovation in learning is very important to do, considering the increasingly sophisticated technology, there are many forms of technology utilization that can be done to maximize the learning process, such as the use of learning media. Flexible and innovative learning media will certainly be very appropriate learning support, especially in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. E-poster is one example of learning media that can be an option because of its flexible and innovative use. This study aims to determine students' needs for learning media to reduce or minimize the risk of misconceptions on temperature and heat topics. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive method. After reviewing the data from the questionnaire that has been collected through a google form questionnaire on 80 high school students in grade 12 science, it shows that 66.3% of students have never studied with e-poster media, and 90% need and are interested in e-poster. Considering the results of the data, it can be concluded that the e-poster learning media is needed by students to minimize the possibility of students' misconceptions in physics lessons. © 2023 Author(s).

RESUMEN

Methods: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 51 providers and 30 Veterans across 12 VHA Medical Centers (VAMCs). Interviewees included staff delivering and patients participating in tele WH coaching, tele WH educational classes, and tele-complementary and integrative therapies (e.g., acupuncture, chiropractic, yoga, Tai Chi, mindfulness or meditation). Interviews were transcribed and a content analysis was performed using a rapid approach. Results: Participants described a broad range of benefits associated with Veteran participation in teleWH services. These included: 1) Improved access to services that previously were not widely offered in-person;2) Increased comfort engaging in services, especially for specific Veteran populations (e.g., Veterans with PTSD, LGBTQ, women, and younger Veterans);3) Greater convenience, including less stress related to travel, length of time required to use services, and integration with workday;and 4) Increased engagement in self-care outside of classes or services. Disadvantages included: 1) Decreased socialization and opportunities for group interaction;2) Decreased access to touch-based services (e.g., acupuncture);3) Technological challenges with approved virtual platforms. Facilitator skill and tele health etiquette mattered greatly for satisfaction with tele WH. Background: The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) quickly responded to the COVID-19 pandemic by providing access to care via tele health. This rapid pivot occurred simultaneously with VHA's Whole Health transformation, which includes the integration of complementary and integrative health services, education, and coaching to develop self-care skills. This qualitative study explored providers' and patients' perspectives on the implementation and advantages/ disadvantages of tele-Whole Health services (tele WH). Conclusion: Tele WH is perceived to be a strong complement to in-person services and poses many physical and mental health benefits for patients. Attention to facilitator skills training and ease of virtual platform use is needed to increase engagement and make tele WH a viable patient centered option for care.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND: Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a dengue virus infection transmitted by Aedes spp. Climate has a profound influence on mosquito breeding. Palembang has the highest rate of DHF in South Sumatra. AIM: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the components of climate factors and the incidence of DHF in Palembang. METHODS: This study was cross sectional, with an observational analytic approach. The Palembang City Health Office compiled data on DHF incidence rates from 2016 to 2020. Climatic factor data (rainfall, number of rainy days, temperature, humidity, wind speed, and sun irradiance) were collected from the Climatology Station Class I Palembang – BMKG Station and Task Force that same year. The Spearman test was used to conduct the correlation test. RESULTS: Between 2016 and 2020, there were 3398 DHF patients. From January to May, DHF increased. There was a significant correlation between rainfall (r = 0.320;p = 0.005), number of rainy days (r = 0.295;p = 0.020), temperature (r = 0.371;p = 0.040), and humidity (r = 0.221;p = 0.024), wind speed (r = 0.76;p = 0.492), and sunlight (r = 0.008;p = 0.865). CONCLUSION: Rainfall, the number of rainy days, and temperature were three climatic factors determining the increase in dengue incidence. Vector control approach must start around October, 2 months before the high DHF cases in Palembang.

RESUMEN

The purpose of this research was to explore the Covid-19 Pandemic’s Impact on the Students of Indonesian Universities Performance. This Research used qualitative approach. In this research, selected participant were 6 students of universities in Indonesia. For confidentiality purposes, respondents are given the initials P1,P2,P3,P4,P5 and P6 Semi- structured interviews were conducted and a list of questions compiled for interviews was developed based on the related literature. The results of this study are that there are impact of Covid-19 Pandemic on the Students of Indonesian universities performance such as Some of the negative effects of Covid-19 are that many students have psychological impact. Moreover, the presence of Corona virus makes this more likely to have an impact on anxiety disorder symptoms, a lot of income in a family is lost, which makes a reduction in allowance. If there is no guidance by an expert then many students who do the learning are not optimal. maybe there is only 1 target that the student wants to achieve, such as absence. There is no attempt to look for learning in the online. The inadequate of independent learning intentions like this can have an impact on material that is not understood by students. And when they go back to take the exam or study again, students miss and do not understand the material. some students and lecturers are not yet familiar with using internet technology or social media as a learning tool, and there are many students who are studying while doing their lectures © 2020 Innovare Academics Sciences Pvt.
